Who is behind Maptivate?

Maptivate is a partnership between Circ Consulting and OneMap.

Circ Consulting is a marketing and strategy consultancy, estbalished in 2007. We are a multi-disciplinary team of experts with experience across a broad range of areas including marketing and strategy, multi media production, market research, art and creativity.

OneMap is a powerful GIS mapping platform, and is part of Tract Consulting, the national planning and design practice. It is used by a range of sectors including property development, aged care, banking and construction.

Maptivate is a true collaboration between Marketers, Artists, Storytellers, Designers, Producers and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) specialists. Meet our creative and passionate team below!

  • Chris Bulford, Managing Director

    Chris is a leading strategist and marketer with outstanding experience in both client and consultancy businesses. His passion for marketing drives his passion for facilitating great outcomes for his clients.

  • Dr Mary-Jane Walker, Creative Director

    Mary-Jane is an artist, scientist and innovator with a diverse arts practice. Her experience includes working at the Innovation Centre in the London Design Centre. She is the founder and director of The School of Lost Arts, Geelong and is currently a Design Week Curator for Geelong as a UNESCO City of Design.

  • Rachel Cooper, Production Manager

    Rachel is an experienced producer and marketer with background in the client and agency side across FMCG, Education, Community Development and Film and Television.

  • Aaron Sims, Lead Developer

    Aaron is a mapping and web GIS specialist and has spent the last several years working on OneMap from its inception. He has worked on all parts of the project as a full-stack web developer, database administrator, data acquisition and transformation specialist, server deployment and operations, infrastructure architect, scripting/automation/dev-ops engineer.

  • Michael Cushen, Senior GIS Analyst

    Michael is a GIS and Data Analyst with a strong interest in all aspects of Spatial Data Analysis and Visualisation.

    Michael has 12+ years of varied industry experience and holds an MSc in GIS & Remote Sensing, as well as a BSc in Environmental Science.

  • Lily Gilby, Design Lead

    Lily is a talented graphic design artist and illustrator. She has a passion for design and strives to apply this to the uniquely personal maps we create.

  • Kim Ingles, Communications Lead

    Kim is a digital storyteller, filmmaker and creative producer with a passion for storytelling in all of it's forms. She is also an impact producer and brings this lens of positive impact creation to all the work she is involved with.
